Who we are

Tint Wright is a window tinting business based on the northern Gold Coast, Queensland, servicing Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Logan and the Redlands. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” means Tint Wright.

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to quote, book and carry out your job. Depending on how you deal with us, this may include:

• your name, phone number and email address
• your suburb or address, so we can come to you
• details about your car (make, model, year and the tint you choose) or your home or office windows
• photos you send us of your windows or vehicle
• booking times, quotes, invoices and job notes
• messages, emails and call records between you and us

We do not keep your credit or debit card details. Card payments are handled by our payment provider.

How we collect it

Most of the information we hold comes straight from you, when you:

• fill in a quote or callback form, or use our online car quote tool
• book a consultation or installation online
• respond to one of our ads on Facebook, Instagram or Google
• call, text, email or message us

How we use it

We use your information to:

• respond to your enquiry and give you a quote
• book, confirm and carry out your job, including texts and reminders about your appointment
• do your free 6-month aftercare visit and handle any warranty claim
• register your film warranty with the manufacturer where needed
• keep business records and meet our legal and tax obligations
• improve our website, ads and service

Calls, texts and emails

When you send us an enquiry, you agree that we can contact you by phone, text or email about that enquiry. We will only send you promotional messages, such as offers, if you have agreed to receive them. Every marketing text or email lets you unsubscribe – reply STOP to a text or use the unsubscribe link in an email.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We only share it with people who help us run the business, such as:

• our website, booking, customer management, text message and email providers
• window film manufacturers, for warranty registration and claims
• our accountant, bookkeeper and other professional advisers
• anyone we are required or authorised to share it with by law

Some of these providers store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose reputable providers and take reasonable steps to make sure they protect your information.

Cookies and website analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar tools to make forms and booking work, remember your choices, and help us understand how people use the site. Our advertising partners, such as Meta and Google, may also use cookies to measure how our ads perform. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site may not work properly without them.

Keeping it safe

We store your information in secure, password-protected systems and only people who need it to do their job can see it. We keep records for as long as we need them for your job, warranty and our legal obligations, then delete or de-identify them.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at any time. Just get in touch using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.
